Todd Lennox

Acting Deputy Division Chief

Todd Lennox currently serves as the Acting Deputy Division Chief for U.S. Department of Agriculture, Departmental Administration, Office of Contracts and Procurement, Procurement Operations Division. He has been with USDA-DA-OCP-POD since October 2009 working in various positions.

In his current role he oversees many aspects of the daily operations of the Division. From 2021 to February 2024, he served as the Procurement Operations Manager for POD, overseeing all six operational Contracting Branches. Prior to that he served as a Branch Chief in the Division for many years, working directly with every customer of the division.

His career in procurement began in 1991, when he was a summer intern with the then U.S. Customs Service purchasing computers and printers, along with things like tear gases, weapons, and construction equipment. He spent nearly 15 years working for U.S. Army Morale, Welfare and Recreation spending Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF).

From 2003-2009 he served as the Army NAF West Region Contracting Director, where he oversaw the consolidation of NAF Contracting operations for 28 Army installations to a single office, resulting in annual personnel savings of over $1M.

He is FAC-C Professional and FAC-DS certified, holds BA in English from Mary Washington College, an MS in Management, and MBA from University of Maryland. He lives in Northern Virginia with his wife of over 30 years, his two adult daughters, and their two dogs.
