James Taynor serves as the Chief Engineer and Chief Technology Officer for Enterprise IT and End User Services within PEO/C3I&N. He is responsible for overseeing the engineering and technical aspects of development, modernization, and sustainment initiatives for enterprise applications, IT services, and end-user devices within a $6 billion portfolio.
Under his leadership, James is driving the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and modernizing IT resources through key programs, such as Enterprise IT as a Service, Identity Credential Access Management, Public Key Infrastructure, and DAF365.
With 17 years of experience in the Department of the Air Force, James has a proven track record of driving the adoption of new technologies and leading high-performing teams through complex technical challenges.
A U.S. Army Veteran, James holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
